The warmth
Thin heating wires are sewn into both the seat and the backrest. You barely feel them when you sit down — you just feel the warmth they give off, spread across your back and legs instead of gathering in one hot spot.
The power
They run on your car's own 12V socket — the same one you'd use for a phone charger, and the same low voltage. The cushion only heats while it's plugged in; unplug it and it's completely off. Nothing to charge, nothing to wire in.
The controller
A small controller sits on the cable, close enough to reach while you drive. It lets you pick a heat level or turn the warmth down without unplugging anything.
The fit
Adjustable straps clip the cushion to the seat so it stays put — no sliding around on corners. The whole thing lifts out in seconds when you want your seat back to normal.
The cover is made from quilted soft-touch fabric, chosen because it feels comfortable in a cold car and wipes clean easily.

Questions
Will it fit my car?+
Ember Mat has a universal shape with adjustable straps and fits most standard front seats in cars, vans and campers. It is not suitable for child seats. If your seat has a built-in side airbag, make sure the straps do not run over the side of the backrest.
How fast does it heat up?+
You will feel the first warmth within 30 seconds. Choose between 2 heat levels with the controller on the cable.
Will it drain my battery?+
The cushion only uses power while it is plugged in. With the engine running, your car supplies that power as normal. In some cars the 12V socket stays on after you switch off the engine, so always unplug the cushion when you leave the car.
Is it safe?+
Ember Mat runs on your car's 12V socket, the same low voltage as a phone charger. Do not use it folded or creased, do not leave it switched on in an empty car, and unplug it after every drive. A built-in thermostat cuts the power if it ever gets hotter than 70°C.
How long does delivery take?+
Delivery takes 5–10 days. The Ember Mat Signature arrives in 5–8 days.
